BLESS THE ROADS
THE STORY OF BLESS THE ROADS
Rebuilding the Black Spiritual Marketplace
Bless the Roads is a vision of what was and a commitment to revitalize what can be.

I believe Hoodoo would have been comparable to other African Diasporic Religions had Enslaved Africans in America had the freedom to explore their spiritual and religious beliefs. Even amidst religious persecution, Conjurewomen, Root Workers, Root Doctors, and other Hoodoo practitioners, and community priests and priestesses birthed local economies built on offering goods and services to their clientele. This stealth industry lived throughout Black communities and would've supported a thriving engine for religious and spiritual business had it not been for the religious persecution Hoodoo practitioners and clients faced. My goal is to rebuild the Black spiritual marketplace so Black spiritual consumers can purchase spiritual goods and services that center their experience, share their values, and restore their spirit.
